Staropramen Brewery Centre
In this historical complex of the Staropramen Visitor Center in Prague’s Smíchov, we will be happy to guide those interested in the history of the brewery and offer a beer tasting. Josef Paspa himself, as one of the most important figures in the history of Staropramen, will guide the guests through the past. Although Paspa was not the founder, he contributed to the modernization of the Staropramen brewery. He introduced innovative technological procedures and embedded in people’s minds the slogan “Staropramen consists of water, pipes and fools!”
The brewery was founded in 1869 with Czech pride, employing Czechs and preferring Czech partners. Are interested in how the brewery coped with the communist era? Or entering the global market? Prague brewery on the boat – Beer Prague
A brewery is a ship that sails on the Vltava River. Here, guests can sample different types of beer while dining in the ship’s restaurant. Served is an old Bohemian cuisine, and the price of the beer tasting includes food according to your choice. In addition to tasting and eating, we can also offer you a tour of the ship’s beer hall.
